About This Project
The cladding works at the Jaguar Land Rover Newcastle showroom feature a high-end rainscreen system finished in Sunshine Grey and Champagne Metallic—colours chosen to reflect the brand’s modern, premium aesthetic. The project utilised an Alucobond® rainscreen façade, installed as a weather-resistant outer layer fixed to a supporting structure, maintaining a fully ventilated and drained cavity behind the cassettes. The ACM panels were fabricated as SZ-type cassettes and installed with a complete support grid system incorporating aluminium omega extrusions and support brackets. Sunshine Grey Metallic formed the primary façade finish, while the Champagne Metallic detailing was used to frame the showroom windows, creating the distinctive chamfered cladding effect characteristic of Jaguar Land Rover’s architectural style.
